In 2001 our family moved from the city to 6 acre property with old house and barn. We chose small town is SE Minnesota to raise our kids and to have a backyard farm for fun and food. Same year we bought chickens, planted orchard and vegetable garden.

In 2003 I bought my first two unregistered standard size goats and 2014 my first Nigerian dwarfs.

Couple of years later  I purchased my first ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarfs from Marge Kitchen and Karyl Dronen.  

Marge and Karyl invited me to my first ADGA sanctioned goat show and I showed my goats for the first time. I was hooked. To be more competitive in the show ring we brought 12 goats from one of the best herds in the country, two time National Campion Castle Rock Farm. We also brought Old Mountain Farm Shyloh - son of National Reserve Champion Old Mountain Farm Shy Elk.
